I am a college football fanatic (#Boomer #Sooner!), mom of two, and a nonprofit fundraising nerd through and through.
I spent the first chapter of my career in for-profit sales, growing million-dollar partnerships and chasing the next big goal. And while I was good, really good, it wasn’t the work that made my heart sing. So, I learned how to fundraise while being the most involved board member the YMCA’s of San Diego County has ever had (probably). Then, in 2015, I went back to school, got my master’s, and changed my stars, leaping into nonprofit leadership and development professionally. That leap brought me across states, through hard pivots (hello, COVID), and into a world where my skills and my heart finally got to work together.
I started Resilience United because I know what it’s like to keep the golf tournament alive, try a new campaign, launch the peer-to-peer platform, while also keeping up with your emails and trying to get home in time to kiss your kid goodnight. I’ve lived it. And I know what it feels like when you're pouring everything into a mission you love and feel like you’re losing yourself in the process.
This work matters. And you matter too.
That’s why I’m here: to help nonprofits and fundraisers find paths that are smart, sustainable, and actually doable. No overwhelm. No burnout. Just strategy that aligns with your mission, your audience, and your capacity so you can grow what’s working, ditch what’s not, and finally breathe a little easier.
